As the official tourism office for the city of Basel, Basel Tourismus is happy to provide you with competent and unbiased information on the region. We can cover all requirements with our extensive network of contacts. With our own Incoming Department, we are able to offer you an experienced partner to assist in the organisation of all types of events.

Our core services include arranging your hotel requirements and congress programme, and organising your event, meeting or group trip to Basel and the surrounding area. We take care of administration, settling of hotel contingents, the organisation of supporting programmes, tours and excursions, as well as the accounting aspects. All the services we offer are tailored to your requirements.

You will be allocated a contact for all your needs and queries concerning your stay in Basel.

  • First, single point of contact in Basel for the coordination of your event

  • Free preparation of a list of suggestions and organisation of supplementary programmes,

  • Collection of hotel offers according to your needs

  • Coordination and management of room bookings at selected hotels

  • Preparation of an online room-booking link and sending reservation confirmations to participants

  • Support in finding and reserving suitable event locations

  • Preparation and reservation of group offers, tours and supplementary programmes

  • Organisation of transfers of all kinds (VIP, groups or individuals)

  • Distribution of brochures about Basel and the region

  • Advertising your event through our various distribution channels

  • Preparation of photographic, film and text materials

 

Our conditions and service charges

  • For searching hotel offers for your group trip, we charge a service fee of CHF 50 per mandate.

  • For searching and managing various room bookings for your event, a coordination and service fee of CHF 250 will be charged. This fee includes preparation of an online reservation link, which participants can use to book their accommodation online.

  • In case of cancellation, the respective terms and conditions of the mediated company shall apply. Basel Tourism Incoming Services´ service charges are still due.
